DIY Valentine’s Candy Gram!

February 12, 2020 by admin

I don’t know how it popped in my head to do a candy gram for Valentine’s Day, but I’m sure glad it did! It was easy, creative, and not a million dollars! My kiddos are going to get a kick out of it – Well, Walter will more than Autumn because she’s only three, but like I said, the thought popped in my head and I went with it.

The best part about this gift is how last-minute-friendly it is. You can stop in the dollar store on your way home from work and do this in the car. It’s that easy! I’m giving a shout-out to my mom’s out there who rock last-minute gifting like a boss. Let’s tackle Valentine’s Day like we tackled Christmas!

Here’s what you need to make a memorable, creative, super easy candy gram:

  • Candy!
  • Double-sided tape or regular tape
  • Sharpie or regular marker
  • Poster board

Before you begin, using your phone or a notepad, make a draft of what you’re going to write. You can’t do this free-style, trust me. Since we’re working last-minute here, you want to work smarter and not harder. Here’s my draft. Feel free to use it! You can also write the candy gram out with a pencil first so you can make it as perfect as you’d like and trace over it with marker. I just went in with the sharpie and it turned out okay!

Then, just tape the candy bars where you want them and voila! Cupid saves Valentine’s Day!

Let me know what you think about this! Are you like me and wait till the last minute to do literally everything? Please tell me I’m not alone!

I can’t wait to be the mom that does these cute last minute things when Natalie is old enough to appreciate them!
