Back to School Gift Box for Kids

September 8, 2021 by admin

Make going back to school fun during the pandemic with back to school gift boxes for kids. These gift boxes have the essentials your kiddo needs plus some extra goodies in there for good measure. Most items were found at my local grocery store, making this gift box easy but special.

Let’s Talk Face Masks

This is an actual conversation piece now thanks to COVID. People are using their face masks as a fashion statement and a way to express their identity. Kids tend to wear what their heart tells them, so it is no surprise that face masks aren’t their favorite. They are uncomfortable and not easy to wear all day for a little one, so a face mask has to be appealing. These face masks fit that bill with their cute designs and details. With beads on the ear pieces and designs like a shark’s face, kids will not only want to wear their masks but keep track of them as well.

Items Needed

To make a back to school gift box for your kid, you will need these items:

  • Pencil box
  • Hot glue gun
  • Googly eyes
  • Scented marker
  • Special pencil or pen
  • Snack for school like cookies, chips, or fruit
  • Small drink or another snack
  • Decorative name tag

These items are fully customizable and aren’t limited, so have fun and get creative. No one knows the kiddo in question like you do.

To Assemble

Simply fold your mask(s) to fit in the box, then place each item to fit snugly inside and place the name tag on top. Once the box is closed, take your googly eyes and hot-glue them to the top of the box. It is that easy! Place in your kids back-pack so he will have a special treat waiting for him/her.

What are your favorite ways to get your kids ready for the new school year?
