I’m so glad we’re ending this year off on a high note with some gift-giving! 2020 hasn’t been the most run-of-the-mill year we’ve ever had, so this Holiday season is more special because I think by now we can all agree that we are starting to appreciate the little things in life.
Hold the phone. I’m talking about most of us. There are, however, those of us out there that are extremely hard to buy for. Pandemic or not, they’re going to be picky! That’s where this gift guide comes in. I’m covering the people on your list who have everything, who have obscure interests, and who are hard to please. I’ll give it a crack, anyway! If all else fails, just put a bunch of coal in their stocking and tell them Santa doesn’t like picky people. Here goes!
Him
Oh, him. That guy. The one who has everything, and if he doesn’t, his hobbies are so technical that you can’t even buy him anything because he knows more about what to get than you do. Yeah, that’s my husband I’m talking about. Here’s what I’ve come up with to please the pickiest of men in your life.
No guy (or girl, for that matter) will ever have too many of these! These come in tons of color varieties and it’s under $30. Definitely a safe bet for them dudes:
For the guy in your life that picks things up and puts them down. These belts have great reviews and are great for dead-lifting and all that jazz:
The men out there who live that pew pew life are going to get a kick out of these:
Glen (my hubby) bought this bottle opener a few years back and absolutely loves it! This would be a great stocking stuffer:
For the tacticool dude in your life:
Much like the Yeti mug, no dude is ever going have too many of these tactical pens. This one comes with a flashlight and all sorts of dangerous-looking things, so right up a guy’s alley!
For the guy that loves to fish for fishies:
Who wouldn’t want to weigh their fish when they’ve caught a big one! Oh, I know. The ones who like to tell tall-tales about their greatest catch. I’m talking about you, dad!
For the one that won’t let you go near his grill, I give you: Fancy spices!
Now for the goofball in your life. This air blaster is really random but it is the kind of gift that a guy will really have fun with. By that I mean he will likely point this at your kids’ faces and blast a swift shot of air at them (totally harmless). So it will be a great gift for you, too. I speak from personal experience, here!
I think I need this shirt. It happens to me all the time:
For your side-kick:
Lastly, for the J.Crews in your life:
Her
Her. The one who likes things, but when you get the things for her, the look on her face says it all. She’s going to be the death of us.
For the cozy gal who knows how to pronounce the term ‘hygge’:
Weighted blankets are all the rage this year, what with the stresses of adult life during 2020 and whatnot, so I think this baby will be well-received even for the pickiest of adults . . . . Because we’re all stressed right now, let’s face it:
Bella Grace magazine is such a beautiful work of art. Its thick pages with inspiring images and text are meant to help you find and embrace hygge (coziness, contentment) in your everyday life:
For the girl who lives in the wine-o’-clock time zone. This bottle opener set is very similar to a set that my bestie bought me many years ago (I still have it and love it, Sarah!) and I always get such great use out of it:
Socks! Who doesn’t love ’em? Especially if they come with an ingenious way to always have a full glass of wine.
Everyone, and I mean everyone needs to have this sitting in their bar so when I come over, they can make me whatever drink I want:
For the tres chic lady in your life:
For the Girl’s girl:
For the goofy gal in your life: Photo socks! Their kids, their dogs, their cat, David Beckham, Jason Mamoa . . . you could have a lot of socks if you’re not careful:
For the working gal, this sticky note set will come in handy all year long:
For the sentimental lady in your life, she can’t turn down a timeless initial pendent necklace:
This gift is another special one if you know someone who isn’t able to see their family due to COVID or who is from another state. The notes of scents on these candles are reminiscent of whichever state you choose:
For the outdoorsy girl:
If she (or he) is vegan and is particular about the products they use, then these kitchen spices will be well-received (great stocking-stuffer!):
Now my brain hurts! I hope this helps you guys find the perfect gift for the ones in life we love the most . . . but hate to shop for! Happy Holidays!
