Hola mis amigos! You’ve come to the right place for a delicious summer drink that is tangy, boozy, salty and muy delicioso! It’s always margarita time in my house, hombres. And where there’s a margarita, there’s always a bowl of chips and salsa close by. It’s just how this gal rolls. Speaking of rolls, this margarita happens to be carb-conscious, so you won’t have to choose between your swimsuit and yo drank!
We’re going to cut all the fluff and dive straight into the recipe so you can make you a marg ASAP.
Recipe
- 1.5 oz tequila (a shot)
- 1 8-oz can of Michelob-Ultra (or any beer of choice)
- 1 lime, juiced
- 1 orange, juiced
- salt, for rimming the glass
- lime wedge, for rimming the glass
Take the lime wedge and run it across the entire rim of your cup. Dip the lime-juice rim in a little pile of salt (course or fine) until completely covered. Carefully place a few ice cubes in your cup. Take your citrus juices and pour in your cup, along with the tequila and beer. Mix until combined and garnish with a lime wedge or slice. Grab the nearest bowl of chips and salsa and a lawn chair and enjoy!
