I was never really a fish lover growing up. Fish sticks were about as far as I went – until I learned that they were made out of fish, then I was just plain done. Thankfully my palate has grown up a bit as the years went on and my taste for the seafood kind has expanded past popcorn shrimp. Take it from a seafood convert, this recipe is delicious and easy and so versatile. I know nothing about fish – I mean, I’m learning more and more the longer I am married to my seafood-freak husband, but I can say that I’ve adapted this recipe by switching out types of fish (salmon – my favorite! – cod, swai) and it always turns out so flaky, delicious and not fishy at all. Bobby Deen really hit this one on the nail! It’s my go-to recipe when we have fish in the house because it’s so easy and the results are so flavorful and fool-proof. All you need is fish, limes, butter, cooking spray, and an oven-safe pan. That’s it! Get the directions here. I hope you like it as much as our family does! Please share how you adapted the recipe so I can try it, too!
*Fish Tip: To take away the fishy taste, soak fish in water with a few tablespoons of some lemon juice or vinegar for around five minutes. It works!
